What gives us life? What gives us meaning and purpose in life? In John 15 Jesus tell us "I am the true vine.... Abide in me as I abide in you." In his sermon, Rev. Dr. Ken Henry tells us that although other activities and interests can give purpose to our lives, eventually they stop feeding us and may even feed on us instead. If you're withering, Henry says, maybe Jesus has something to say to you.
